Essence Music is a new independent record label based in the southeast
of Brazil.
Operating since 1999 as a small mailorder service, we are pushing
the activities to a new and higher flight. Musically we are connected
with sounds of a darker nature, yet never bound to any defined
and closed genre or limits to artistic expression. Our wide focus
ranges from ambient and related post-industrial, esoteric sounds
to drone, psychedelic, avant-rock and akin organic et non-organic
experimental and unclassifiable delights. Bring to life our very
own vision of quality music is what moves us.
Always commited to quality, our productions are exclusive, often
limited editions coming in special packagings and presentations,
avoiding the (blind) mass market and providing the listener with
an unique sonic experience.

We are a new small label and due to the high costs and limited
nature of our productions, we need to be selective regarding promotions.
That said, if you run a print or web publication or radio program
interested in featuring the forthcoming Essence Music materials
(or if you need high resolution photos, logos, etc.), please feel
free to contact our currently in expansion promotional department

» Bands and artists
We are music addicts and therefore receptive towards new and quality
sounds. If you feel we might like your art, send us your material
(no MP3 files, please!). A careful spin and some kind of feedback
is what we promise.
